Florida Early Head Start

Early Head Start (EHS) provides support to low-income infants, toddlers, pregnant women and their families.  Early Head Start serves 4,526 infants and toddlers, from birth to age 36 months, in 54 counties in Florida.  EHS programs enhance children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development; assist pregnant women to access comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care; support parents' efforts to fulfill their parental roles; and help parents move toward self-sufficiency.  Early Head Start grantees are required to offer at least ten percent of their enrollment to infants and toddlers with disabilities.  For more information on Early Head Start or to contact an Early head Start program, please click on this link or paste this link into your browser:
